The Big Sleep are opening for The Hold Steady at Prospect Park in Brooklyn on August 9th. Their debut album, Son Of The Tiger, was released in the US on French Kiss Records in late 2006 and will be released in the UK and Europe on One Little Indian Records this October, followed by tourdates in the UK and Europe. The band spent the latter part of 2006 and most of 2007 touring the country and Son Of The Tiger received rave reviews from Spin, The Washington Post, The Village Voice, Pitchfork, Billboard and more... The Big Sleep starts recording their new album in August with co-producer Chris Coady and it should be released in early 2008.
